I've been alerted to the fact that we are living in the age of the butt. Day after day, it was my gut that looked up at me like a sad child who had been punished for doing nothing wrong. Maybe it used to be different - back when having a squishy and unseemly butt was as out of the question as having a squishy and unseemly stomach - and they'd never gotten around to changing the name.
